Coaching is predominantly focussed on specific work issues. Research has shown that coaching is an effective tool to improve both wellbeing and performance in the workplace.
In working with you as your business/executive coach, some of the areas we might focus on include:
- Improving leadership effectiveness
- Building highly effective teams
- Increasing engagement and satisfaction in ones work role
- Transitioning effectively into a new role/promotion
- Assisting high-performing individuals with specific areas of difficulty
- Accelerating career or professional development
- Effectively managing complex teams or tricky personalities within teams
- Safely implementing organisational change processes.
Coaching may be a one-off session, or a series of goal-directed, focussed sessions to address specific issues.
This is in contrast to Professional Supervision (see next section for further info), which is a more proactive, on-going, reflective approach, and less reactive and problem-specific.
